At times it seems insurmountable. We are so glad we got into the habit of living "slim" in med school, because we are still really good about living within pretty much the same means during residency. And we are saving SO MUCH now that we have two incomes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1737452170241282707.post-82032789834176066922010-01-10T16:32:33.456-08:002010-01-10T16:32:33.456-08:00Thanks for this post! We talk about how crazy and unpredictable the future is going to be, and while I don't think anyone can mentally prepare themselves for "med school life", I think I at least have a good idea of what I'm getting myself into. I look forward to what you have to say next :)

KatieAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01849459641970982179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1737452170241282707.post-21917632950846780512010-01-05T15:14:03.215-08:002010-01-05T15:14:03.215-08:00Thanks for sharing the info :) I wanted to let you...Thanks for sharing the info :) I wanted to let you know that I love your blog and I gave you an award on my blog :) I hope you have a great Tuesday!
xo, KA

http://medicalschoolmrs.blogspot.com/2009/12/my-1st-blog-award.htmlkBwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09430304648563735648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1737452170241282707.post-62077040487564069982009-10-26T20:32:22.726-07:002009-10-26T20:32:22.726-07:00Good information! Since my husband works 60+ hours a week as an engineer and is in the middle of o-chem right now, I feel like I am getting a pretty good feel of how medical school will be. We only really see eachother weekend evenings!McDorkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17518478249738616406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1737452170241282707.post-40689643663991859122009-10-26T16:16:22.703-07:002009-10-26T16:16:22.703-07:00I enjoyed this post! Luckily, I am having some prep-time; the school C is currently attending is about 3 hrs. from where I live and we hardly get to see each other. The three hour drive isn't bad, but sometimes one of us can't make it for a weekend due to work or family! I'm constantly trying to keep busy now and I am thankful for my patience! I think that is a big key! That, and he is worth the wait! :)Kristinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10512833416247575241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1737452170241282707.post-28586854264771001762009-10-26T10:23:02.858-07:002009-10-26T10:23:02.858-07:00Thanks!
